How we think about it

Isip should work whether or not you can see the screen, hold the phone steady, or read small text. The features below exist for that reason, and they follow the accessibility settings you have already configured in iOS rather than asking you to set anything up again.

Accessibility Features

VoiceOver reads every interactive element, with labels, hints, and traits set on each one.
You can capture tasks and entries by speaking instead of typing. The speech recognition runs on your device.
Text scales with Dynamic Type, following your system font size.
Turning on Reduce Motion in iOS settings cuts the animations back or removes them.
Colors meet WCAG contrast ratio guidelines.
The tab-based layout keeps the hierarchy shallow, which makes it predictable to move through with assistive technology.
Haptics confirm actions like completing a task or logging a mood.

The Apple Watch companion app provides a voice-first interface designed for quick, hands-free capture. Tap the screen, speak your thought, and it's sent to your iPhone automatically.

This Website

This website follows WCAG 2.1 guidelines. It includes semantic HTML, a skip-to-content link, proper heading hierarchy, descriptive alt text for images, and keyboard-navigable interactive elements.

Feedback

If something in Isip blocks you, email us and say what happened, which screen you were on, and what assistive technology you were using. Specifics get fixed faster than general reports.
