What is Isip?+
Isip is an iOS app that turns your completed tasks into journal entries. Add tasks, work through them, and Isip writes the journal for you. On compatible devices the AI that generates those entries runs entirely on your phone.
How does the auto-journal work?+
As you complete tasks through the day, Isip uses Apple's on-device AI to turn them into a journal entry that reads like something a person wrote. Edit it, add a reflection, or leave it alone.
Is my data private?+
Completely. Isip stores everything on your device. There are no accounts, no cloud sync, and no servers. Your tasks and journal entries never leave your phone.
Do I need an internet connection?+
No. Isip works entirely offline. Every feature runs on your device, including AI journal generation on compatible devices.
What devices are supported?+
Isip works on iPhone XS and newer running iOS 17 or later. The AI features (auto-journaling, smart classification, grammar polish) need an iPhone 15 Pro or newer with iOS 26 and Apple Intelligence turned on. Tasks, journal, voice capture, photos, mood tracking, and charts work on any supported device.
How much does it cost?+
Isip is completely free. You get unlimited tasks, unlimited journal entries, export, insights, and the AI features on compatible devices. There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.
Is there a subscription?+
No. Isip is free and will never have a subscription or in-app purchases.
Can I export my data?+
Yes. You can export all your journal entries as Markdown files. Your data is yours.
What is Apple Intelligence?+
Apple Intelligence is Apple's on-device AI system built into newer iPhones. Isip uses it to generate journal entries, summaries, and reflection prompts, all processed locally on your device and never in the cloud.
